Between Saturday 12th March and Saturday 19th March, Small Steps are taking part in Conductive Education Awareness Week, helping to raise the profile of Conductive Education across the UK and the many lifelong benefits it brings to the lives of people who have movement disorders.
To mark the occasion we’ve decided to run a little information and cake stall each day in the Small Steps Foyer. We’ve put up a display all about Conductive Education, and will be selling some little Small Steps promotional items and selling cakes. We are hoping that this will be a great opportunity to raise some cash for Small Steps, but most importantly, it will help us to celebrate and raise the profile of Conductive Education amongst all our families and visitors.
Conductive Education is a system of learning that has been developed for individuals with motor disorders. Conductive Education is a learning process, not a therapy or treatment and it is fundamental to all we do here Small Steps. You can read more about Conductive Education at Small Steps here.
Please support our event by bringing a bit of small change to your session on the week commencing 14th March, so you can purchase some of our wares. Alternatively, if you’re not going to be at Small Steps this week, but would like to contribute, you could make a donation to Small Steps via textgiving, by texting STEP16 and £5 or £10 to 70070. Thanks in advance for your support.
