Fay completed the Tonbridge Half Marathon for Small Steps!

A big congratulations and thank you to Fay, nanny to Small Stepper Fintan, who successfully completed the Tonbridge Half Marathon to raise funds for Small Steps on 6th October!  Fay explains why…

“As some of you may know I work as a special needs Nanny now for a wonderful family, The Bain family! The past year has been one of the best working years of my life and I owe much of this to them.

I look after their two amazing boys Cillian and Fintan. Fintan has an undiagnosed genetic condition and needs all round care. He is a very cheeky and delightful little boy and I have the honour and privilege of caring for him and being part of his wellbeing and development as he grows and develops.

Fintan and I every week attend this amazing group called Small Steps. The staff are some of the best people I have met who work within the special needs sector. They help, support and educate so many families and carers to provide children with additional special needs with the best early years start they can have. Attending small steps is one of the highlights of Fintan’s week and I am so lucky to attend with him. All what Small Steps provides is invaluable and its totally free!

So to help give just a little something back to them so they continue their fantastic work with many families and children I am attempting to do my first half marathon in Tonbridge and I will be thinking of Small Steps every step of the way to help me cross the finish line!

So please donate what you can to this fantastic charity!  With much heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes, Fay xx”

A huge thank you to Fay for her support!
