Charity Support Assistant

This new post will provide support to the Small Steps office team, developing and maintaining efficient administrative systems for the Charity. The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience with excellent communication skills and a friendly and efficient manner. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will be able to show sensitivity and empathy when dealing with families who have a young disabled child.
The hours of work will be 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, with half an hour for lunch, term time plus 3 weeks (42 weeks per year) The successful candidate will also be expected to attend some evening and weekend events as required. The starting salary for this post will be £17,000
