We have some exciting news! You may be aware that during our 20-year history, Small Steps has moved premises several times and our current location at 166 Roehampton Lane is not secure. So, over the past few months we have been working hard to find a new permanent home for the charity. We are delighted to share the news that we have now found a building!
The new premises are just down the Sheen Road in Richmond, close to train, tube and bus transport links and with some parking available. Work will now begin on making the building (previously an office), fit for Small Steps use. We anticipate that our relocation will not be until next Summer term at the earliest, but wanted to share this exciting news with you as soon as we picked up the keys. It is a massive achievement for the charity and we are all absolutely delighted! Further news will follow in the coming months as the refurbishment takes place. If you’d like to contribute to a ‘wish-list’ of what you’d really like to see in a Small Steps setting, please do let us know, we’d love to hear your ideas!
In the meantime, if anyone has any concerns or questions, please do pop in to the Small Steps office, email us or give us a call. We realise a move to a new location will affect some families more than others and are very happy to chat this through with you.
As we say at Small Steps, no two days the same… onwards & upwards… 😊
Anita & all the Small Steps Team!
