Ealing Half Marathon

Big thanks to Claudio, Alex and Mark who ran the Ealing Half Marathon and raised over £1,000!  Claudio wanted to support Small Steps because his friends daughter Emilia attends sessions here;

A friend’s daughter was diagnosed with hemiplegic cerebral palsy at just 9 months old. This is the result of a stroke-like brain injury she suffered in pregnancy.  It means that she cannot use the right side of her body as well as the left.  Emília is now 2 years old and doing amazing, all credit to this small charity called Small Steps. Based in Roehampton, SW London, they help children from all over London and the Home Counties. These children have a range of disabilities that affect movement and development and require physiotherapy and a lot of positive encouragement to develop and flourish. It is because of Small Steps and their work that Emilia learnt to sit up, stand and most recently walk unaided.   Me, Alex and Mark are running a half marathon in September and we need your help. It would really push us on if you could donate a little to our cause and help this amazing charity. Many thanks.”

Please show your support and make a donation on their JustGiving page.  Every penny counts!  Thank you.  www.justgiving.com/fundraising/claudio-de-souza
