This Website (as defined below) is operated by Small Steps SFP (referred to as “Small Steps/we/our/us”). As User (as defined below) of this Website (referred to as “you/your”) you acknowledge that any use of this Website is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

These Terms and Conditions (together with the documents referred to in them) tell you the terms of use on which you may make use of our Website, whether as a guest or a registered user. Use of our Website includes accessing, browsing, or registering to use our Website.

“System” means any online communications infrastructure that Small Steps makes available through the Website either now or in the future.  This includes, but is not limited to, web-based email, message boards, live chat facilities and email links;

“User” / “Users” means any third party that accesses the Website and is not employed by Small Steps; and

“Website” means the website that you are currently using (www.smallsteps.org.uk) and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.  Note that this definition includes the Small Steps newsletter.

2.1 We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Website, and in the Content published on the Website, unless uploaded by Users, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Small Steps, our affiliates or other relevant third parties.   All such material is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.  All such rights are reserved.

2.2 You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the Website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given prior express written permission to do so by Small Steps.

2.3 In the event such permission is given, you must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

2.4 Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on our Website must always be acknowledged.

4.1 Those wishing to place a link to this Website on other sites may do so only to the home page of the Website  provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal, does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it and if the prior permission of Small Steps is first obtained.

9. Viruses

14.1 All notices / communications shall be sent to us either by post to the Premises or by email to info@smallsteps.org.uk.  Such notice will be deemed received 3 days after posting if sent by first class post, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday.

14.2 Small Steps may from time to time send you information about our products and/or services.  If you do not wish to receive such information, please email us at info@smallsteps.org.uk with the word ‘unsubscribe’ as the subject.

15. Trade Marks

Trade Mark 2580834 is a UK registered trade mark of Small Steps SFP.

16. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, their subject matter and formation, and the relationship between you and Small Steps (as well as any non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.  Small Steps and you both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
